Szymon Bobrowski – a graduate of the Polish Filmschool in Lodz (1995). Immediately after receiving his degree, he gained recognition for his subsequent work and received multiple performance awards. Szymon is passionate about theater. He has worked with Poland’s most renown theater directors, including Krzysztof Warlikowski, Barbara Sass and Krzysztof Jasiński, he has also costarred with some of Poland’s most celebrated actors: Krystyna Janda, Janusz Gajos, Marek Kondrat, Bartłomiej Topa and Zbigniew Zapasiewicz.
His motion picture debut „Demony wojny według Goi” (1998) was directed by Władysław Pasikowski. Since then he has appeared in movies directed by the most respected Polish filmmakers, Wojciech Smarzowski („Róża”), Krzysztof Zanussi („Zycie jako smiertelna choroba przenoszona droga plciowa”) and Andrzej Wajda („Afterimages”). Szymon has gained mainstream popularity thanks to his work in many television series, which has also given him the opportunity to work with celebrated directors such as Xawery Żuławski, Bartosz Konopka and Jan Komasa.
